The sprinters of the relay team on the 4×400 meters have won the gold medal at the European Indoor European Championship in Apeldoorn.
Eugene Omalla, Nick Smidt, Isaya Klein Ikkink and Tony van Diepen from Heerhugowaard came to a time of 3.04.95 and thus kept Spain and Belgium behind it. Van Diepen also took gold on Thursday at the mixed relay 4×400 meters.
