The American clothing provider Abercrombie & Fitch Co. has completed the 2024/25 financial year with strong growth in sales and results. However, the forecasts for the current year, which the company presented on Wednesday, were behavioral.
The annual turnover grows by 16 percent
In the past financial year, which ended on February 1, the corporate turnover amounted to $ 4.95 billion (4.62 billion euros). In doing so, he exceeded the previous year’s level by 16 percent. In the Abercrombie segment, revenues rose by 16 percent to $ 2.56 billion, the Hollister division achieved an increase of 15 percent to $ 2.39 billion.
All market regions contributed to the strong growth of group sales. In America, revenues increased by 17 percent to $ 4.03 billion, in the EMEA region, which includes Europe, the Middle East and Africa, they rose by twelve percent to $ 770.5 million and in Asian-pacifier space to $ 150.6 million.
The forecasts for the current year remain reserved
The group of companies also made clear progress in the result. The operational profit, which was adjusted for special effects, grew by 51 percent to $ 740.8 million. The net result due to the shareholder was $ 566.2 million (529.0 million euros) and thus exceeded the level of the previous year by 73 percent.
For the current financial year 2025/26, management predicts sales growth by three to five percent. The diluted profit per share, which was $ 10.69 last year, is expected to achieve $ 10.40 to $ 11.40. In the forecasts, the expected effects of the recently decided customs increases on imports from China, Mexico and Canada in the USA have already been taken into account.
