Ukraine could wake up somewhat relieved on Wednesday morning. On the arms stop on Monday night, no stairs followed for Volodimir Zelenski in Donald Trumps State of the Union. The US president quoted from a letter in which the Ukrainian leader says he wants to negotiate as quickly as possible “under the strong leadership of Trump.” Zelenski has changed from Toon too eleven: the Ukrainian story no longer finds a listening ear in Washington.
