Davante Adams still had a contract with the New York Jets by 2026, which would have earned him $ 35.64 million a year. However, the deal no longer included any guaranteed covers.
Due to the release, the jets now save $ 29.9 million in Cap Space. At the same time, the decision means a DEAD CAP of $ 8.36 million.

NFL: Hires Adams and Rodgers at the same team?
The latter has now occurred. Davante Adams only joined the New York Jets in October after he started the season at the Las Vegas Raiders.
