An older man drove his car against the facade of a supermarket on Monsignor Nolensplein in Breda on Tuesday afternoon. The man was taken to the hospital with an ambulance for an investigation. The window of the store was considerably damaged. Inside the supermarket the racks were mixed up.
The older driver probably flew out of the corner. Then he drove between two parked cars with his own car, causing his car to be damaged. One of the parked cars was also damaged.
Then the man drove further over the street. He eventually rammed the facade of the local supermarket. Two local residents helped the man out of the car because he kept pressing the accelerator pedal. This created a lot of smoke.
The man was examined by ambulance staff and took the hospital for further investigation. The window of the supermarket is considerably damaged by the collision. In the supermarket, the racks with sweets are crooked and intertwined.
