The European gas price rose sharply on Monday morning, after the confrontation between US President Donald Trump and the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zensky in the White House on Friday about stopping the war between Ukraine and Russia. Traders on the gas market seem to be less confident that a truce can be closed soon, so that Russian gas may again flow to the European market.
