Greens: Special funds wrong response to questions of time

According to the survey, hospitality in Germany complains about financial imbalance
Numerous hotels and restaurants in Germany are apparently faced with financial imbalance despite comparatively good utilization numbers. This emerges from a special evaluation from the economic survey of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DIHK), from which the newspapers of the Funke media group cite. Accordingly, 60 percent of companies report a problematic financial situation in the hospitality industry. That was 7 percent more than in the previous survey in autumn of last year. Within the gastronomy, only 21 percent of the companies currently rate their own situation as “good”, 29 percent come to a poor evaluation. “The industry is now slipping 4 of balance points in autumn 2024 into the negative area to minus 8 points,” says the special evaluation. 2,500 companies in the field of tourism were interviewed across Germany.
SPD: Do not create acceptance if we only invest in defense
The SPD general secretary Matthias Miersch is covered in terms of possible special funds for defense and infrastructure. “We are currently at the beginning in exploratory negotiations, and we have agreed that we want to maintain confidentiality,” he emphasized in the early start of RTL and NTV.
