Jessy (52) ended up at home at Desmond Tutu and became friends: “You didn’t want to leave”

In 2014, Jessy Lipperts (52) lived and worked in South Africa when she was approached by her old high school gym teacher. He had set up the Global Exploration Foundation, which organized ‘world citizens’ internships for high school students. He asked Jessy if he could come to Cape Town with school children.
