A fire broke out last night at a boat in the harbor at the Asser district of Marsdijk. The fire was discovered just before four o’clock.
The fire brigade quickly had the fire under control and could therefore prevent the entire boat from going up in flames. The vessel did, however, suffer considerable damage.
The cause of the fire is not yet known. The police are investigating whether there is arson.
