A National Team, 20 and 23 March with Hungary UEFA Nations League play-off struggle will be critical matches.
Before these matches, Roland Sallai, one of the star names of Galatasaray, spoke to Nemzeti Sport from his country.
Here is the interview with the sallai:
-The first match between Turkey and Hungary will be played in Ali Sami Yen. Should we be afraid of the atmosphere?
“An incredible atmosphere is waiting for us. Based on our matches at home, I can not say anything other than to say that the atmosphere will be great. When I came to the club, many people told me to the fanaticism of Galatasaray fans, the atmosphere of our home matches.
-Is it a success to stay in the A League against the Turkish National Team?
“We have been among the best for two years, I think this is a great success on its own. We want to start the third year in the A League, but it will not be easy. We encounter a strong Turkish team, I give both sides for fifty percent chance in terms of balance of power. For us, there is a rise for the Turks.”
-Name Türkiye-Hungary will whistle you in the match?
“Hmm, good question. We’ll see. But if they boo, this is not a problem, it is extremely normal in football, part of football.
– You don’t have much time to think about it right now, because the matches in Galatasaray come on top of each other, but does it come to mind the struggle with Türkiye from time to time?
“I’m waiting for both matches with very excitement. I can’t say that I’m getting up with these two matches right now, but it comes to my mind more often, of course. Moreover, time is very fast, we have a match every three to four days, there is no time to relax. I love the intense program more.”
– Monday played with Fenerbahce and ended with a goalless draw in the last minutes of the derby injured in the game. Can you get on the field this weekend?
“The medical team examined my leg in detail on Wednesday and agreed to miss the weekly cup match.
The adaptation process was completed. Did your teammates easily accept you?
“I came to the best possible place. Others accepted me immediately, after adaptation, I feel like my house in the locker room. There is no need to introduce teammates, because there are many big names in the squad, just álvaro Morata, Mauro Icardi, Dries Mertens or Victor Osimhen. It doesn’t bother me that I have to play in the positions, I was always on my job and I have been playing as a striker lately.
– Have you started to love Istanbul?
“A gigantic city. Compared to Freiburg, where my previous club is located, it was a big change to get used to such a big city in our lives with my wife, but we started to find ourselves, but I think it is impossible to discover Istanbul completely.”
