FC Bayern is missing Joshua Kimmich in the duel against Stuttgart. Now another midfielder should fail.

FC Bayern run out of the professionals at the headquarters. As a reporter of the “TZ” wants, Aleksandar Pavlović also misses the Bundesliga cracker against VfB Stuttgart on Friday evening. The 20-year-old falls out due to a cold. PAY TV broadcaster Sky also reports on Pavlović’s failure. In addition, Sacha Boey should not be able to be used due to illness.

For coach Vincent Kompany, the selection with a failure of Pavlović would be lower. Because Joshua Kimmich will also miss the southern derby in Munich because of a tendon irritation in the thigh. “If a miracle does not happen somehow today, this game is too early for him,” Kompany reported before the final training on Thursday.

The trainer did not start a lament. “We will solve this with our squad. Joshua is not the first thing that turns out,” Kompany recalled. However, the coach has to form his starting XI for the first time during his term at Bayern without Kimmich.

Konrad Laimer, who most recently acted as a right -back, was to choose from, João Palhinha, who has not stood on the pitch since the beginning of February and the duel against Holstein Kiel (4: 3), as well as veteran Leon Goretzka. Meanwhile, Kompany can rely on Harry Kane again. The striker is supposed to play again from the start after a calf injury.

For Bayern, the game against VfB is the last test before the round of 16 first leg in the Champions League against Bayer Leverkusen. A victory would strengthen self -confidence and further expand the lead of eight points onto the Werkelf. In addition, after the big celebration for the 125th birthday of FC Bayern on Wednesday evening, “The fans and the club can continue to celebrate into the weekend,” said Kompany: “So, we know what we have to do!”
