New buildings with few or no parking spaces are advancing: ‘Families need car’

Utrecht is going to build the largest car -free city district in the Netherlands. In more and more cities, parking spaces are under pressure and people in public transport or sub -transport are ‘stocked’. But is it realistic or a piece of wish thinking? “Then people have a house, but there is a huge handicap on it.”
