Although the Lower Saxony Sendersby takes place in Hanover in March, it could get full in the Eintracht stadium. The BTSV is planning a special campaign.

The continued decision to restrict the guest supporter at the Lower Saxony Sendby triggered enormous outrage at the fans of Eintracht Braunschweig. Large parts of the BTSV supporters will not travel to Hanover on March 9th. The Ultras call up to the boycott.

Eintracht is therefore planning a special action. If you get this implemented, it could get full despite the away game in the stadium on Hamburger Strasse. The association is planning a public viewing. You want to broadcast the game live in your own stadium, according to a BTSV announcement.

“We would like to create an offer for all those Eintracht fans who reject a visit to the game live in the stadium due to the framework conditions,” said the association to justify the project. Currently, all network partners are checked whether the derby is allowed to broadcast live. “It should still be possible to pursue the game in a blank community,” it says.

The decision has not yet been made. One wanted to inform about the latest developments immediately.

The Hanover police department had ordered the partial exclusion in early February. In Hanover, only 60 percent-and thus a maximum of 2,541-may be the Eintracht supporter in the Heinz von Heiden Arena. At this dispute, the police directorate relies on paragraph 11 of the Lower Saxony Police and Regulatory Authority Act, according to which it can “take the necessary measures to ward off dangers”.

Because of the repeated riots before, during or after the games between Braunschweig and Hanover, Lower Saxony’s Interior Minister Daniela Behrens (SPD) even threatened a complete exclusion of guest fans at these derbies last year. In fact, only 1,260 instead of 2,100 96 supporters were allowed to buy a ticket at the first leg in Braunschweig.

Then both fan camps demonstrated separately against each other. The Braunschweig fans also announced a demonstration on Thursday. In this way, they move through Hanover to the Lower Saxony Ministry of the Interior and Sport, where Interior Minister Behrens is based. Read more about this here.
