Suomi.fi has received a Govtech award for the world’s best public administration service, the Ministry of Finance reports. The recognition has been announced at the World Government Summit event in Dubai.

This recognition was awarded by the Emirates Government Service Excellence Program, which is established to improve the quality of public services and promote innovation

Suomi.fi is an online service opened in 2002 and developed by the Digital and Population Information Agency. It was introduced in its current form in 2017.

The purpose of the service is to assist citizens and companies in managing everyday affairs with authorities and non -profit organizations.

Anna-Kaisa Ikonen (co.), Who represented Finland at the event at the event, thanks the Arab Emirates for the recognition and congratulates the people who participated in the development work. Ikonen attaches importance to commitment to human -oriented development.
