The French basketball star Victor Wembanyama is expected to be missing the San Antonio Spurs for the rest of the NBA season. As the team from Texas announced, the 21-year-old was diagnosed with thrombosis in the right shoulder.
The Spurs do not assume that the French center will be on the floor again in the current season 2024/2025. The injury was found after his return from the All-Star game in San Francisco.
Wembanyama is already one of the most formative players in the league. The 2.24 meter -tall center has been established as a top performer in no time. With France, he was in the Paris Olympic final last year, but was defeated there to the US team.
