“In the past period, unrest has arisen at the staff and players about the future of women’s football at or with Telstar,” says general manager Leon Annokkée on the website of the football club. According to him, it is therefore time for a ‘fresh start’ with a new trainer, with a view to the new season of 25/26 and the future.
The Telstar women’s team has a collaboration with Hera United, a new women’s football professional club from Amsterdam. Hera will take over the professional license from Telstar next season to get a place in the Eredivisie in this way. In principle, all players from Teltar go to Hera.
Marelle Worm has been the head coach of the women’s team in the Eredivisie since the 22/23 season.
