The 1. FC Kaiserslautern cannot win the top game against Hanover, but still makes a jump in the table. The surprise team from Elversberg continues.

Zero number in the top game between the 1st FC Kaiserlautern and Hannover 96 on Saturday in the 2nd league. Nevertheless, Lautern slips past the Hamburger SV in second place in the table, Hanover is only eighth.

The surprise team from Elversberg, on the other hand, continued to win – Greuther Fürth was beaten 2-0. Due to the goals of Fisnik Asllani (6th) and Carlo Sickinger (45.+1), Elversberg is already slipping to sixth in the 2nd league.

Eintracht Braunschweig celebrated a small liberation in the relegation battle with a 1-0 win against Darmstadt. Lino Tempelmann provided the golden gate in the 60th minute. Pech for Darmstadt: Jean-Paul Boetius also saw the yellow-red card (63.) because of repeated foul play.

The 1. FC Kaiserslautern played the chance to jump to the top of the table of the 2nd Bundesliga. The FCK bit its teeth on the guest defense at 0-0 against Hannover 96 on Saturday-a victory would have meant first place for one night, at least for one night.

For Hanover, on the other hand, the already low promotion hopes disappear. 96 was last against Fortuna Düsseldorf (1: 1) the significantly better team and could also have won at Hamburger SV (2: 2): After three draws in a row, a win should definitely be made.

But again this time 96 was superior in the first half after a strong FCK beginnings without rewarding. The best chance was a brilliant crossbar from Lars Gindorf (33.). Kaiserslautern held against the self-confidence of his four-game victory. Nevertheless, it was Gindorf again who opened the second half with a major chance for Hanover (49th). Rabbi Matondo did not manage to push the ball into the goal (60th).

Hannover remained more active, more determined. Lautern struggled, but caused far too little danger. Ragnar Ache (69.) failed in a flank after a flank, only in injury time Joker Daniel Hanslik had the winning goal on his foot. Phil Neumann saved on the line (90.+1).

The upward trend of SpVgg Greuther Fürth has already been interrupted. After the last two victories at the surprise team SV Elversberg, the Franks lost 0: 2 (0: 2). Toracher Fisnik Asllani (6th minute) with his twelfth season goal and Carlo Sickinger (45th) scored the goals for the team of coach Horst Steffen.

In added time, Elversberg’s Lukas Petkov saw yellow-red. The Fürther could not take advantage of their chances and remain with 26 points in the middle of the table. Elversberg, on the other hand, mixes with 35 points up.

Eintracht Braunschweig has left the relegation zone for the time being. The team of coach Daniel Schering celebrated the second victory in a row at 1-0 (0-0) against Darmstadt 98 and climbed to 15th place Lino Tempelmann (60th). For Darmstadt it was the fourth defeat in a row. Jean-Paul Boetius also saw the traffic light card (63.) because of repeated foul play.

Braunschweig was better in the game and then dangerous when it consistently carried attacks forward. Darmstadt initially closed at the back, but got the huge chance to take the lead in the 32nd minute. Merville Papela was the customer of a pass from Guille Bueno, but the ball crashed into the post from the back of Eintracht professional Fabio di Michele Sanchez. In return, Levente Szabo should have hit for Braunschweig.

Both teams began the second half, then Tempelmann took care of the lead. The Schalke loan had already met in Karlsruhe during the victory last week. After yellow-red against Boetius, the hosts were outnumbered shortly afterwards.
