Due to a laundry list of injuries, OS Lusitanos trainer Achmed Oulad Omar had access to a limited group of full players. To make matters worse, visitors from Gorinchem took the lead within a few minutes.
Os Lusitanos had to be chased early, but thanks to International Saber Ben Khalou, the damage sustained just before half-time was undone: 1-1.

The same Ben Khalou was halfway through the second half the bitten dog by shooting the 1-2 behind his own goalkeeper.
