Love
Johan and Marta drive through the entire region for fresh eggs from Streefkerk, farmhouse cheese from Hoogmade, dairy from Benthuizen, Jam from Alphen aan den Rijn and freshly baked sourdough bread from Zoetermeer. “Our webshop is Kaasie we do next to our work at a nursery. There we met in between the Gerberas, “says Johan. Marta always brought cheese from the farm for Johan. “There is so much taste that he wanted nothing else since then. Fresh and traditionally prepared simply tastes much better. ”

Buttermilk from uncle Johan
The couple regularly visit the makers of regional products to test their products and see how they can work together. “For example, I once tasted freshly carnded milk at a dairy farm. Wow, that tasted great! Then I had my colleagues tested at De Karnemelkkoule’s nursery during lunch. They, but also my eight -year -old nephew, are enthusiastic. He only wants the buttermilk of Ome Johan. “

Marta and Johan collect all online orders once a week and they set off with their shopping list. They load their car with nuts, peanut butter, lawyer, fruit juices, dry sausages, baking mixes and more. “We pick up the groceries and fresh dairy products at the farm, make packages and deliver them to various Zoetermeer addresses,” says Marta.

Zoetermeer events
According to Marta and Johan, Kaasie still has to grow the fame of that. “We can’t live from our webshop yet. We do try to do more in brand awareness, “says Marta. Last year the two at Festival Culinair Zoetermeer stood with snacks with regional products at the beer stall. They place brochures with Zoetermeerse shopkeepers and drive around as much as possible with their delivery car through the city.
That is Kaasie, where does that name actually come from? “I came up with that at night,” says Johan. “That is Kaasie means that is easy, nicely included or tasty. And that refers to exactly what we stand for. “
