The reward for the golden tip that leads to finding the Romanian artworks that were stolen from the Drents Museum has been increased to 250,000 euros. The Dutch entrepreneur Alex van Breemen says that. He lives in the Romanian capital Bucharest and praises the reward for finding a golden helmet and three gold bracelets.

“It happened more than two weeks ago,” he responds. “I felt that I have to keep the momentum in it.”

Earlier, Van Breemen had given a reward of 100,000 euros in prospect for the golden tip. The entrepreneur points out that although three suspects have been arrested, they all keep the jaws together. “Perhaps there are people who did not want to come forward to date, but for a higher reward do,” Van Breemen hopes. He is happy that the police have arrested suspects, but especially wants the art treasures to be found.
