In the Kruisstraat in Eindhoven there was a big manhunt on several men on Tuesday evening. They would have been seen with a firearm. Two men have been arrested.
The police received a report on Tuesday evening about an ‘incident’ with a firearm. Agents went to investigate and wanted to check a car at the pastor Petersstraat, but several suspects fled. It would be at least three men.
The police soon managed to keep a suspect. Another man ran into the Kruisstraat and quickly got out of sight. The police therefore started a manhunt. The suspects were sought with a police helicopter, tracking dog and the Special Interventions (DSI) service.

Part of the Kruisstraat was surrounded and combed. Agents searched in alleys, cars, on roofs, at people’s homes, in gardens, shops and in catering establishments. In the end, a second man was swapped.
A firearm was found in the car where the men fled. Both the weapon and the car have been seized.
