Green Day confirmed that a comedy is in production based on its early days.
According to “Variety”, Live Nation Productions works on a road trip comedy entitled “New Years Rev”, which is produced by all three Green Day members. The film is currently being shot in Oklahoma.

“New Years Rev” is inspired by Green Day’s early days when they lived and toured in a van. The film tells the story of three friends who travel through the United States after mistakenly accept that they open for a New Year’s concert in Los Angeles.
