Russia has restricted access to social networking site Instagram. The decision came after parent company Meta announced it would temporarily allow Facebook and Instagram users in some countries to post messages calling for violence against Russian soldiers in Ukraine or against the Russian government, led by Vladimir Putin. Facebook and Twitter have previously been banned.
