The use of Munich’s Leroy Sané against Bremen was probably questionable for a long time. Now the reason for this is leaked.
Leroy Sané recently suffered from food poisoning. As the “TZ” reports, the wing player from FC Bayern even had to go to the hospital two days before the duel against Werder Bremen (3-0) at night. Then apparently everything went very quickly: Sané contacted him again a little later, was even used against the tenth tenth from the Weser.
Bayern coach Vincent Kompany brought the 29-year-old for Kingsley Coman in the 81st minute. Only seconds later Sané increased to 2-0 for the German record champions after the presentation of Konrad Laimer. Striker Harry Kane previously put the Bavaria in the lead by penalty (56th minute) before the Englishman made the sovereign victory perfect in stoppage time (90th +7).
Curious: Sané had noticed in the game with a special accessory. The professional wore an ear stud on his ears. According to the FIFA statutes, jewelry is not allowed.
“Wearing jewelry is strictly forbidden. All pieces of jewelry are to be removed. Covering jewelry with adhesive tape is prohibited,” says the World Association. How Sané came through the control of the fourth official and whether the incident leads to consequences remains unclear.
In addition to Sané, the use of Serge Gnabry had also been questionable. The national player had to deal with gastrointestinal problems-and did not get fit in time. Instead, coach Kompany called for a 16-year talent in the squad: Wisdom Mike.
