More annual salary
In the past, Dutch hockey players often participated in the Hil. Only in the last seven years there was insufficient money. Now again and that meant that various Dutch hockey players were auctioned in October. Where others received a good annual salary, Burkhardt had to do with 5,500 euros. “It wasn’t a financial issue for me, because I could have worked better in the Netherlands. I just wanted to experience this adventure.”
