The Karlsruher SC has extended Sebastian Jung with vice captain. The 34 -year -old right -back, whose contract originally exported, remains the second division club beyond the coming summer. The veteran came to Karlsruhe from Hanover in 2020 and has played 92 games since then (three goals, 13 templates). So far, Jung has only missed one game this season.
“I am very happy to continue to be part of the KSC and this team. The support of the fans and the family atmosphere at the KSC are something special. Together we want to continue to successfully design this season, also build on our previous services in the next season and achieve our goals, ”said Jung, who belongs to one of the longest -serving professionals in the squad.
The sporting director Sebastian Freis added: “Sebastian is not only a key figure on the pitch, but with his great experience, also a role model for our younger players. His professionalism and commitment are outstanding. We are convinced that he will help us enormously with his qualities beyond the current season. ”
