Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt has bound the Belgian international Arthur Theat in the long term.
Eintracht committed the defender from the French first division club Stade Rennes and equips it with a contract until summer 2029, as the Hesse announced before the home game against VfL Wolfsburg.
Theat came to Frankfurt last summer – but initially only on a loan.
At the SGE, the 24-year-old quickly established himself as a regular player. Theat, including the game against Wolfsburg, was used in 19 out of 20 Bundesliga games.
“Since his arrival at Eintracht, Arthur has shown the great potential he has. With his will to win and his professional attitude, he is an important player for us on and next to the square. We are pleased that he stays in Frankfurt in the long term,” said Frankfurt’s sports director Markus Krösche.
