In the current season, Jamal Musiala has collected impressive 22 scorer points in 28 competitive games for FC Bayern (15 goals, seven templates).
Nevertheless, Felix Magath would have hoped for an even steeper development from the German international. The long-time Bundesliga coach founded his amazing criticisms in the talk show “Sky90”.
“He is exceptionally good in his individual skills, but he is not yet a match winner for the Champions League,” said the 71-year-old, who once trained Bayern himself.
Magath replied on the moderator’s note that the current royal class game time was still at a very early stage: “He already played there last season.”
In general, the experienced trainer at FC Bayern misses the further development of young players. “You can’t leave her alone,” said Magath. You have to give talent “leadership”, but also “a position”.
