Lanvin, one of the oldest still active couture houses in the world, starts a new era with Peter Copping as an artistic director. During the Paris Fashion Week, Copping presented his first collection for the house, inspired by the founder Jeanne Lanvin.
“This collection is very personal – a tribute to the world of Jeanne Lanvin and her unique feeling of style,” said Copping. The designer, responsible for the women’s and men’s collections, leather goods and accessories, revives iconic elements such as capes, draps and Lanvin’s famous “Robe de Style”. The autumn/winter 2025 collection comprises 62 looks that range from evening wear to day clothes.
In 2023, the Lanvin Group generated sales of 426 million euros, an increase of one percent compared to 2022. The group was based on the brands Caruso, St. John and Wolford, which are part of the company’s portfolio. The Lanvin brand itself recorded a drop in sales of seven percent. Now it should go up again with Copping at the creative tip.
Lanvin has boutiques worldwide and sells its products through various high-end goods houses and online platforms.
