Undiemeister, a Dutch brand for men’s basics and underwear, is expanding to Germany.
This step is made possible by a successful crowdfunding campaign. The amount collected is used for advertising measures and the expansion of the range. So far, Undiemeister has collected 313,269 euros and is aiming for a maximum total amount of 500,000 euros, the crowdfunding portal Crowdaboutnow announced on Tuesday. In the past two years, Undiermeister has tested the German market with sales and marketing.
The campaign on Crowdaboutnow is promising, as the press release underlines. With 31 remaining days, Undiermeister is optimistic to achieve the goal of 500,000 euros. Within a week, the minimum goal of 250,000 euros was reached thanks to the support of 163 investors: inside.
Brand founder Rik Vegter emphasizes that the step to Germany is an important milestone for a more sustainable fashion industry: “We want to prove that sustainable fashion is not only necessary, but also scalable. Thanks to this campaign, we can do a little, now outside the Netherlands. ”
The brand, founded in 2019, relies on more environmentally friendly basics such as boxer shorts, T-shirts and socks for men. She developed the patented fabric Mellowood, a combination of Tencel and certified organic cotton.
