The Dutch fashion brand 10days will go into the future with a new leadership duo.
On Tuesday, the company announced that Monique Wijnands would be promoted to CEO in early February. She follows Marie-José Vermin, who has announced her resignation after five years at the head of 10days.
Wijnands recently held a key role in the company as Head of Marketing. In recent years, “she has not only carried out a complete rebranding, but also set up a strong and independent marketing team, which now consists of committed and practice -oriented experts,” said 10days. In addition, Wijnand’s “always played a key role in the design of the business strategy and positioning of the company”.
Gert Westerbroek will also belong to the new management team. The previous Head of Finance was promoted to Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Together, Wijnands and Westerbroek will in future provide “the continuation of corporate growth and the further expansion of the brand”, according to a statement.
