All in all, about 13,500 households and companies were without electricity. This concerns places in Obdam, Alkmaar, Avenhorn, De Goorn, Graft and Heerhugowaard, as well as Hensbroek, Noordbeemster, Noordeinde, Opmeer, Oterleek, Oudorp, Schermerhorn, Sint Pancras, Spanbroek and Westbeemster.
Liander was quickly on the spot for a solution. It was expected that the malfunction would be resolved around 7 p.m. That turned out to be a little earlier: the power is on it again in most places.
