I have the feeling that there are more and more initiatives that support or sponsor charities. Whenever I read about such an initiative again, I always think of my friend Martin, who died much too soon. Martin had a heart of gold. He gave to everyone who came to the door with a collection box – does that even still exist? – and was always ready to help.
