Germany’s opponent in the quarter -finals is certain

It has been clear for days that Germany is in the quarter-finals of the Handball World Cup. Now it is also clear who the DHB selection meets.
For Germany’s national handball team, the World Cup quarter-finals against Portugal. That has been clear since Sunday afternoon. Because Portugal defeated Chile in the last main round game with 46:28 and thus made the victory in Group III Fix. Germany is the next opponent as the second of Group I.
The still undefeated Portuguese struggled with outsiders Chile in the first half. National coach Alfred Gislason hit a similar notch: “It is a very interesting team and they play the whole tournament very well,” he said. “When you see what teams all have left behind, it says a lot about them,” said the national coach.
