The Glasgower Institution makes its post rock shine in a slightly different light.

With her last album as the Love Continues, the Scottish Postrock Institution Mogwai achieved a veritable sensation: place one in the British album charts. Mogwai! It was particularly dramatic at Barry Burns: shortly before the recordings, a life -threatening illness was diagnosed with his little daughter. Burns was there in the studio, but – as he says it himself – “like a spirit”.
