A teenager was hit by a local bus at De Kromme Nol in Wijk en Aalburg on Thursday morning. The cyclist got stuck under the bus. The fire brigade had to free her.
The accident happened around eight o’clock in the morning. The girl was cycling on the road when she was hit.
She was stuck under the bus for about half an hour. The fire brigade lifted the front of the local bus and was able to free the victim.
The teenager was rushed to hospital. She was approachable. The police are investigating the accident.
