Joining him on February 11th will be Antonella Clerici and Gerry Scotti. The announcement from the host of the most famous singing event in Italy came live not at Tg1 but to It’s always middaythe program hosted by her friend who will be at her side on the Ariston stage.

«There will be a big surprise”Antonella Clerici said at the beginning of the episode, explaining that Carlo Conti would be connected. Then, the surprise was revealed live. «I have said several times that this is a choral-led Festival. I like the idea of doing a Festival together with many friends, many colleagues, with many different facets and many different colours”, said the host of Sanremo 2025.
«On the first episode I announced that two wonderful friends would be with me. Everyone thought of Pieraccioni and Panariello. Instead these two friends are Antonella Clerici and Gerry Scotti”, he then announced.

The presenter’s reaction was immediate. “What a trio, how beautiful we are” he commented on TV, after Carlo Conti’s announcement. «We need a FRIEND… and I have one!»he then wrote on Instagram, sharing his joy with his followers. And many friends from the entertainment world immediately complimented her. First of all Paola Perego: «Who deserved it more than you? Well done my friend!”, she wrote on Instagram.

The name of Gerry Scotti as a possible co-host of the Festival had been circulating for some time. But only now has the official announcement arrived. For the first evening of the Sanremo Festival, the host will leave Mediaset for Rai. «Very rare to see me on Rai 1″said the well-known TV face when connecting to Antonella Clerici’s program with Carlo Conti.
«I know you called it the Friendship Festival.”he said, referring to the host. «You know that when they ask me in interviews “Tell me a friend quickly”, I reply “Carlo Conti”. And when they asked me “if you were a woman on television who would you be”, I replied “Antonella Clerici”. So, I feel great”, commented the new co-host of the Festival ironically.
