The biathlon season is slowly but surely entering the home stretch: from January 23rd to 26th, the best ski hunters will be in Antholz, Italy. Where can the World Cup competitions be seen live on television and stream?
Dress rehearsal in Italy: In Antholz, the biathletes of the German Ski Association (DSV) want to present themselves in top form again before the World Championships begin in Lenzerheide on February 12th.
Germany’s best ski hunter Franziska Preuß was able to impressively defend her lead in the overall classification after the two World Cups in Oberhof and Ruhpolding – even if not everything initially went according to plan in the first home game. In Ruhpolding, however, the 30-year-old again recorded top performances.
Two second places in the individual and in the mass start were accompanied by the relay victory. She is now traveling to Italy with a comfortable lead of 142 World Cup points over Lou Jeanmonnot from France.

In the Antholz biathlon arena, the program for men and women includes a sprint, a pursuit and a relay competition.
For the men, the main focus will be on local hero Tommaso Giacomel, who celebrated his first World Cup victory in the mass start in Ruhpolding. Of course, the focus is also on Johannes Thingnes Bö, as the Norwegian will be playing in Antholz for the last time after his announced retirement at the end of the season.
