‘It’s been building up’: A ‘Making The Band’ contestant accuses Combs of behaving inappropriately.

The rapper and producer is accused of touching a candidate in an inappropriate manner while filming the TV format “Making The Band” and also of threatening a band participant with eating his meat. Further threats from Sean “Diddy” Combs are said to have followed.

“Who says something like that? That’s crazy”

The new accusations have become public due to the documentary “The Making of a Bad Boy”, which was recently published via Peacock (the US streaming service is only available with a VPN). The documentary also features a former member of Da Band – Sara Rivers. She was one of six musicians hand-selected by Diddy to appear on the TV show “Making The Band,” which aired from 2002 to 2004, and was signed to Comb’s Bad Boy Records. During this period he is said to have behaved inappropriately towards Rivers and her colleagues.

She specifically says in the documentary interview: “When he got mad at one of my band members, he said: ‘You make me so angry that I want to eat your meat.’ And then he said to another one of my band members, ‘You roll your eyes, I could get a crack addict and pay him $20 to beat the shit out of you.’ Who says something like that? That’s crazy.”

“I felt intimidated”

The now 47-year-old also accuses Diddy of touching her on set: “He touched me in a place where he shouldn’t have. That was inappropriate. I felt intimidated and thought, ‘Oh my God, what the hell just happened?'”

She also explained herself in the documentary conversation: “I’m definitely nervous because I haven’t said anything for so long and it’s built up. It’s been on my mind for 20 years. This happened, this happened, this was stopped. It’s mentally exhausting.”

With Da Band she released the album TOO HOT FOR TV in 2003. But it didn’t go much further, because Sara Rivers’ group was subsequently disbanded by Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Diddy’s legal team tells Variety that the allegations in “The Making of a Bad Boy” documentary are lies.

What happened before

The FBI and SDNY are also investigating whether the 55-year-old initiated so-called sex parties (with a prominent guest list, including Usher, Leonardo DiCaprio and Justin Bieber) where drugs were sold and sex trafficking was carried out. Previously, in March 2024, police raids were carried out on his properties due to such allegations. Over that time, more and more lawsuits against Diddy have piled up.
