Rock am Ring 2026 has only just gotten underway, so we are already looking ahead to next year: On Friday evening (June 5th), the first headliner for Rock am Ring 2027 was confirmed. Festival goers can look forward to Blink-182 for the first time.
The announcement was made around 10:30 p.m. on the festival displays and was also posted a short time later on the Rock am Ring and Rock im Park social accounts. What’s special: As you could hear in the announcement, after many calls and emails, the festival managed for the first time to get the band to perform at the twin festivals. Accordingly, the joy in the infield was huge.
Rock am Ring 2026: Spectacular line-up
The organizers are thus setting an early exclamation point for the upcoming edition at the Nürburgring. For many fans, the news was probably an additional highlight alongside Linkin Park’s subsequent performance.
The current edition of Rock am Ring will take place at the Nürburgring from June 5th to 7th, 2026 and is sold out. Around 90,000 visitors celebrate in the Eifel. The program on Friday evening included Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit and Papa Roach.
Blink-182 is one of the acts that regularly fill large festival stages with their shows and is one of the most popular bands in the Rock am Ring community. The appearance at the Nürburgring is likely to be a particularly big topic of conversation at the campsite.
No other bands for Rock am Ring 2027 were initially named. Information about pre-sales is already available. Traditionally, sales start shortly after the end of the festival – on June 9, 2026 at 12 p.m.
