BVB urgently needs a win in Bologna. Coach Nuri Şahin is taking risks – including in the lineup.
Nuri Şahin goes into his “final” as coach of Borussia Dortmund without captain Emre Can and his deputy Julian Brandt. Both are not part of the starting line-up for the Champions League game at Bologna FC in the evening (from 9 p.m. in the live ticker) at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara. The suspended Ramy Bensebaini is also missing.
BVB has good prospects of direct qualification for the round of 16 in the premier class. However, the performances in the Bundesliga are so weak that Şahin’s coaching chair is shaking.
