The Coni Board of Guarantee rejected the Calabrian club’s double appeal regarding two penalties of two points each: the team thus remains last in the standings
The First Section of the Board of Guarantee at CONI, chaired by the lawyer Vito Branca, rejected the two appeals presented by Cosenza which thus remains at the bottom of the Serie B table with a penalty of 4 points for violations of an administrative nature reported by Covisoc to the Federal Prosecutor’s Office. These were two separate appeals, both for the penalty of two points and a fine of 10 thousand euros in total (5 thousand and 5 thousand). Already in October the Calabrian club had appealed to the Federal Court of Appeal against the FIGC’s decision, but the second level of judgment rejected the request. The Board of Guarantee, in addition to rejecting the appeal, ordered the compensation of the costs of the proceedings.
