A TV show in Great Britain was supposed to focus on a football game. Suddenly the presenter and experts had to leave the studio.

A bizarre incident occurred during a TV broadcast of the football game between the NFL teams Buffalo Bills and the Baltimore Ravens (27:25) on the night of Sunday to Monday. The TV studio of the British broadcaster Sky Sports apparently had to be evacuated suddenly during the game. Instead of presenter Neil Reynolds and his guests, only video clips from the stadium were played over a certain period of time.

As Reynolds announced at the same time via X, there was a good reason for this. According to the 52-year-old, the fire alarm had been triggered. He and his colleagues, including ex-football player and expert Jason Bell, had to leave the building as a result. “We hope to be back on Sky Sports soon,” Reynolds continued. “There are never dull moments in the playoffs.”

After the alarm was ended, the channel’s NFL team could be seen on the screens again. Afterwards, Reynolds didn’t miss the opportunity to talk about the incident again.

“We don’t let a fire alarm get us down,” he joked. “This is playoff football.” Jason Bell humorously replied, “They tried to get rid of us, but we’re back.” Reynolds, who had again accidentally spoken in a too high-pitched voice, replied, “That high-pitched sound wasn’t the fire alarm. Turns out it was my voice all along!” The exchange caused laughter from everyone present.

It has not yet been clarified whether it was ultimately a false alarm in the TV studio.
