A new phase is about to open for Palworld: here’s what’s coming to the game, which is preparing to embrace its second season.

Developer Pocketpair has revealed a roadmap for Palworld’s second year of updates. One of the biggest hits of 2024, the monster-collecting survival crafting game is in Early Access and is still far from complete. However, the studio, which even received a complaint from Nintendo last year, is planning big steps towards this goal in 2025, which also include a real ending for the game.

Palworld, the new roadmap —

Below you will find the new Palworld roadmap:

  • Crossplay for cooperative mode
  • Transfer between worlds for the Pals
  • World Tree / Final Scenario
  • More ways to strengthen and improve Pals
  • Additional content such as new Pals and technologies
  • Collaborations with other games
  • Improvements to world object placement, basic Pals, and user experience
  • Optimizations

Coming soon —

Palworld’s upcoming collaborations include the previously announced crossover with Terraria, which will bring together two indie powerhouses. To celebrate Palworld’s first anniversary, Pocketpair has also released the game’s soundtrack for free on YouTube and opened a poll to ask the community their favorite Pal. You can send your vote on official site and not just for your favorite Pals: NPCs will also be included in a similar survey.
