A house on the Acaciasingel in Den Bosch was destroyed by fire on Saturday night. The fire started from a car. It rolled into the house. Arson is suspected because there was a fire starter on the ground where the car was parked.
The fire was discovered around 2 a.m. The residents were able to leave the house on time. They were checked by ambulance personnel because they had inhaled smoke.

Living room and hall scorched black
The damage to the house is extensive. The window at the front is broken and the entire living room and hall are blackened. Little is left of a scooter that was parked in front of the house.
The car, which was probably still in gear, causing it to roll into the house, also burned out completely.
The neighbor’s house also suffered smoke and soot damage from the fire.

Commotion
Local residents were startled awake by all the commotion on Saturday night. A neighbor who called the fire brigade says she has never experienced anything like this on this street before. “Everyone here knows each other, this is a quiet and friendly neighborhood.”
A recovery company towed the car away on Saturday night. The police are investigating. A neighborhood survey will take place during Sunday.
