The negotiations between the two clubs for the Rossoneri centre-back continue, in the next few hours the Rossoneri management will meet the player. The Devil is also targeting a striker, a midfielder and another central defender

January 19, 2025 (changed at 00:29) – TURIN

Fikayo Tomori returned to Milan after Juve-Milan but there is a good chance that he will soon make a new trip to Turin. To stay there. Juventus has been following him for some time in search of a reinforcement in defense – the Slovakian Hancko is a separate matter, which could be postponed to June – and Milan are considering a sale. There is a principle of agreement between the two clubs: Tomori can move to Juve for 25 million (between loan and obligation to buy) plus bonuses. Bonuses that could bring the total close to 30 million. It’s not all done, but it’s well underway and the next few hours will tell. Milan, with those 30 million, could build their market. Walker is very close but three more spaces need to be filled. A striker is a priority, with Joao Felix on the list but certainly not the only name. A midfielder has become essential, to lend a hand to Fofana and Reijnders. A central defender to replace Tomori on the list could be a last week signing. It’s not easy to do everything in 15 days, but Milan will try.

the situation tomori

This Sunday in mid-January is fundamental, because a potentially decisive meeting between Milan and Tomori is scheduled. Sergio Conceiçao appreciates Tomori and not by chance has always let him play, but the negotiation is currently progressing. Fikayo’s opinion will be important, as he would find Pierre Kalulu, his Scudetto twin, in Turin in a double transfer with few precedents in recent history. And it remains to be seen whether the two clubs will go all the way, without second thoughts. Both clubs, for one reason or another, are in a delicate moment of the season and Juve has evaluated (and evaluates) other profiles in recent days. The rush is not total because Tomori is disqualified in the Champions League: he would not be able to play for Milan during the week and obviously not even for Juve, who cannot list him until February.

purchases

With the operation, Milan would lose one of the two central defenders of the Scudetto and would give space to the Thiaw-Gabbia duo, with a reinforcement potentially to be taken on the market. Mosquera, Valencia defender, has been liked for some time but the impression is that a surprise name could emerge. The midfield discussion is also interesting, because the last few games show that Fofana and Reijnders need help: a player will arrive. The strong name, then, in attack. Conceiçao likes Joao Felix a lot but this is a page yet to be written. There are still two weeks, which for Milan will be excited, tense, full of surprises. First, though, Walker. First, Tomori.
