In an interview with IL, Venla winners Jukka Lindström and Niina Lahtinen thanked Finnish politicians for quickly providing topics for political satire.

A hard day’s evening was awarded for the best screenplay at Venla. Jukka Lindström and Niina Lahtinen In an interview with Iltalehti, they thanked the Finnish authorities for consistently providing subjects for satirists.

– What I would hope is that when we are on break, we could transfer some of these airplane noises to March, when the show continues, Jukka Lindström advised the politicians.

Member of Parliament for Basic Finns Tomi Immonen was removed from a Finnair flight last week due to intoxicated disruptive behavior, which caused a huge uproar.

– Would there be such an extended drop-off, and then in March the cap is open, cruising, drugs on the door handles and on the flight, painted Niina Lahtinen.

Supplier Henna Koste mentions that Lindström’s award speech was received by the finance minister who was sitting in the audience Riikka Purrank too to laugh.

Lindström says, however, that he does not know if there are actual fans of the program in parliament. He trusts that domestic politicians have an eye for a joke.

– Honor goes but reputation grows, Lahtinen next door sums up.

They admit that political satire is not the easiest genre.

– It’s damn tedious to do, the two say.
