Heikki Silvennoinen’s daughter Saara appeared on the Kultainen Venla stage.

Heikki Silvennoinen was posthumously awarded the Golden Venla lifetime achievement award.

Silvennoinen died in December. He learned of the award before his death. The daughter of a beloved entertainment legend Saara Silvennoinen claimed the award.

That’s what Saara had promised to do if her father couldn’t make it to the gala. He says that his father was very modest and surprised when he heard about his award.

– He became sensitive. He wondered if he really did that much. He was genuinely very happy, Saara told Iltalehte.

Saara says that going on stage was a great honor for her. He emphasizes that he himself has not been featured in the media, and did not inherit his father’s desire to perform.

– There is no fire on the stages, so it was a really tough place. Really tough, says Saara.

The death of Heikki Silvennoinen touched Finns collectively. The amount of love did not go unnoticed by the daughter. The fact that the gala audience honored Heikki Silvennoinen’s memory while standing also speaks volumes.

– That energy was really strong. It felt awfully warm. The warmth that came towards our family was really comforting and warm. It felt good, says Saara.

Saara says that life is currently being learned with new settings.
