Canadian online fashion retailer Ssense has appointed Christine Sio as Chief Customer Officer as part of its transformation process. She previously held the position of Vice President of Customer Experience and in her new role will be responsible for global demand generation, conversion and customer retention. Prior to joining Ssense, Sio held leadership positions at Walmart Canada and Holt Renfrew, where she focused on driving customer-centric business strategies in digital commerce.
Melissa Malik will assume the position of Chief Supply Chain Officer. Malik has 20 years of experience driving large-scale operational transformations for global e-commerce, retail and financial brands. As Chief Supply Chain Officer at Ssense, she is responsible for end-to-end supply chain management, including sales and fulfillment operations, logistics, supplier management, and product and process accountability. Previously, as Vice President of Global Fulfillment Operations at Ssense, she led a multi-year fulfillment transformation, introducing automation and transitioning the warehouse management system to a new platform, resulting in faster order fulfillment, improved product availability and greater operational efficiency.
As Global Head of Marketing at Ssense, Haein Dorin will oversee the creative, partnerships, editorial, social media and marketing teams. She previously served as Global Head of Partnerships at Ssense, a newly created position in which she initiated collaborations with brands such as TikTok, Volvo and Samsung. Prior to Ssense, Dorin held leadership roles at Highsnobiety and Condé Nast, where she drove revenue growth by developing and implementing go-to-market strategies for global partners.
