In men’s singles, world number 2 German tennis player Alexander Zverev advanced to the next round by beating Great Britain’s Jacob Fearnley 3-0 with sets of 6-3, 6-4 and 6-4.

In women’s singles, world number 1 Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka beat Danish Clara Tauson 2-0 with sets of 7-6, 6-4 and advanced to the fourth round.
In women’s singles, Croatian Donna Vekic, seeded 18th, advanced to the next round by beating her Russian opponent Diana Shnaider, seeded 12th, 2-1 with sets of 7-6, 6-7 and 7-5.
